Woodie Earl Layman

Woodie Earl Layman, 93, of Buchanan passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Virginia Hunt Layman; parents, Clarence and Ella Hodge Layman; son Woodie "Joe" Layman, Jr.; sister, Lena Fringer Simpson; and brothers, Chester and Ray Layman. He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Pat Layman Turner, Carolyn and Tommy Hambrick, Nancy Layman; sister-in-law, Julia Layman. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Wednesday, April 11, 2012 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Hatfield officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will recieve friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the Botetourt Funeral Home.
