William H. Hayslett, Sr.

William H. Hayslett, Sr., 85, of Buchanan passed away Friday, June 26, 2026. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Jean Newcomb Hayslett and son, William, Jr.

He is survived by his grandsons, Randy Williams, Jr. and Michael Hayslett; daughter, Deborah Hawk; sisters, Minnie and Mac McIntire and Millie Beard; nieces, Mindie Goodwin and Dawn (Joey) Manspile; nephew, Ricky Hayslett; great-niece, Gabrielle Goodwin; and great-nephews, Music Goodwin, Caleb and Kyle Manspile.

A celebration of Frog’s life will be held on his birthday on Saturday, July 11, 2026 with visitation at 11 am and services at 12pm in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Interment will follow next to his wife at High Bridge Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Flowers are beautiful; however the family wishes donations be made at any Beagle Rescue Association.
