Wiliam Gilbert Brewbaker

William Gilbert Brewbaker, 70, of Buchanan, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry M. and Helen Booze Brewbaker. Willie was a member of the Masons with Catawba Lodge #342 for 39 years and retired with 40 years of service from Union Pipe Fitters Local 491. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marilyn Cronise Brewbaker; daughter and son-in-law, Deirdre "Dee Dee" and Bruce Noble of Fincastle; son, H. Michael Brewbaker of High Point, NC; grandchildren, Nicole Newcomb, Devin Brewbaker, and Matthew Brewbaker; great-grandson, Logan Alls; and brother-in-law, Randall Cronise of Roanoke. A memorial gathering will be held from 5-8pm, Thursday, December 12, 2013 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. 540-254-3000 At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Catawba Masonic Lodge #342 or the Botetourt County Emergency Services.
