Virginia Paitsel Wymer

Virginia Lorraine Paitsel Wymer, 74, of Fincastle, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017. She was a retired Custodian for Central Academy in Fincastle. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl William Wymer, and parents, Marion Clinton and Maggie Huffman Paitsel. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Peggy Goad of Fincastle, Ann and Joe Walk of Bedford; son, Edward Wymer and Connie Smith of Rockbridge; step-sons, Carl Wymer, Jr. and James Wymer; sister, Claudine Hutchinson of New Castle; brother, Walt Paitsel; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and special friends, Elizabeth "Bucky" Ayers, and Linda Simmons. Her memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, November 2, 2017 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, Virginia with Rev. Tracy Terry officiating. Interment will be private in Godwin Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service.
