In Loving Memory of Victoria "Vickie" Grove Saville

Victoria "Vickie" Ray Saville (81) of Eagle Rock, Virginia, formerly of Selma, Virginia, passed into eternity with our Heavenly Father on May 5, 2025.

Born on April 25, 1944, Vickie was a beloved wife and Mamaw, whose love and devotion to her family were unwavering. She found joy in the simple moments-sharing stories, offering guidance, and creating lasting memories with her family. She attended Galatia Presbyterian Church and served in various capacities in the church.

Vickie was also an educator whose passion for creativity and teaching left an indelible mark on her students and the community. She worked at Eagle Rock elementary as an art teacher and at Galatia Day School as a daycare provider. She inspired countless young minds in the classroom, nurturing their artistic talents. Vickie's artistic spirit extended beyond the classroom. She was an avid painter and craft enthusiast, often found creating beautiful works of art and handmade treasures for her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her son, Patrick Gray Saville; sisters, Patricia "Pat Ann" Liptrap and Claryce "Catty" Dame; and parents, Clarence Ray and Dorothy Halleck Grove.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Donald Saville; son and daughter in law Don and Lynette Saville; grandchildren Jordan Saville and Makayla Saville; and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 with visitation starting at 1pm and memorial services at 2pm at Galatia Presbyterian Church, where family and friends will gather to honor her legacy.
