Vickie Cline

Vickie Marie Peery Cline, 73, of Staunton, went home to meet her Lord Friday, October 3, 2025. Vickie was a sweet kind spirit in this world and will be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Elizabeth Peery.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert "Jay" Hensley, Jr.; daughter, Brittney Hensley; grandson, Lucas Robinson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Toni and Charles Holliday, Margaret and Ray Grubbs, Jr.; brothers, Matthew and William Peery; specials friends, Barbara and Betty; numerous nieces and nephews; and her fur baby Abby.

Vickie spent hours on Ancestry.com compiling records to present at family reunions. She loved working crossword puzzles and playing with her fur baby. In memory of Vickie, do an act of kindness, show love, and trust in the Lord.

Visitation will be held from 1-2pm with funeral services at 2pm on Thursday, October 9, 2025 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Hogan. Interment will follow in Springwood Baptist Church Cemetery.
