Susan Stevens Myers

Susan Stevens Myers, 63, of Troutville, passed away Thursday morning, November 24, 2011. She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Allen Marshall Stevens. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Harold Haden Myers; son and daughter-in-law, Marshall Haden and Kristie Myers of Fincastle; daughter and son-in-law, Susanne Myers and Matt Marshall of Cumming, Ga.; grandchildren, Bryce Alexander and Blake Ashton Marshall, Kayla Marie and Konner Michelle Myers; father, Warren Lorraine Stevens of Fincastle; brother and sister-in-law, David Allen and Evelyn Stevens of Fincastle; sister and brother-in-law, Connie Stevens and Steve Robeson of Berryville; the Stevens families; the Marshall families; numerous cousins; and special friends, Barb Melton and Sandy Gates. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in the Wheatland Lutheran Church with Rev. Cecie Haxton and Rev. J. R. Graybill officiating. Interment will follow in Wheatland Lutheran Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fincastle Rescue Squad, PO Box 273, Fincastle, VA 24090 or the American Sewing Guild, 9660 Hillcroft, Suite 510, Houston TX 77096. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
