Stella Virginia Cary Kidd

Stella Virginia Cary Kidd, 84, of Fincastle, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Neil Kidd; parents, Jordan and Emily Cary; one sister, Violet Jane Armstrong; and a nephew, Lester Eubank, Jr. Stella managed the pressing department of Kenrose for many years. She was a lifetime member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and served as financial secretary. She is survived by one brother, Jordan P. "Bud" Cary; sisters, Dorothy L. Cary, Gladys Eubank, and Myrtle Deane Cary; niece, Emily Gale Eubank; nephew, Earl Lewis Eubank; and two great-nieces, Brenna and Karlee Eubank. The family would like to thank Carilion Hospice services for their caring work. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Sunday, December 1, 2013 in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church with the Rev. Danny Kesler and Rev. Terry Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7pm at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. 540-254-3000
