Sarah Sumner Wirt

Sarah Joan Sumner Wirt, 77, of Buchanan, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2011. She was a member of the Eastern Star and cherished her 30 plus years with them. She traveled many places and made many friends that were always very special to her. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Gerald Wirt, Sr. and son, William Gerald "Jerry" Wirt, II. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Leigh Wirt; grandson, William G. Wirt, III; great-granddaughter, McKinsie Sky Smith; and brother, Charlie Sumner. Graveside Services will be held 2 pm Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Woody officiating.
