Samuel Dawson Smith, 67, of Boones Mill, passed away Monday morning, March 14, 2022. Sam was an aircraft maintenance specialist with US Air. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Carson Smith and Iris Iola Henley Smith. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Beth Bower Smith; son and daughter-in-law, Grey and Megan Smith; grandson, Jaxson Smith; and granddaughter, Sadie Smith; and special friends, Casey Baxter, and his wife, Sarah and their children, James and Clayton.
