Ruth Martin Meador

Ruth Martin Giles Meador, 81, of Buchanan, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Riley Meador Sr.; parents, Charles Preston, Sr. and Lucy Haupt Giles; sister, Nellie Mae Kelley; brothers, Walter Giles and Charles Preston Giles, Jr.; and son, Arthur Preston Meador. She is survived by her children, Dana and Kenneth Ferguson, Rochelle and Garry King, Arthur Riley Meador, Jr, Angela Sloggett, Christine and Paul Dulaney, Diane and David Meador, Phillip and Danielle Meador, and Robert Meador; sisters, Peggy Giles, Jackie Giles Peery, and Jeannette Giles Morris; 28 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 12:30pm, Thursday, December 3, 2020 in the parking lot of Valley View Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Boone officiating. Burial will be private.
