Rossie Petty Willis

Rossie Petty Willis, 84, of Buchanan, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, James Meade Willis; four brothers, Richard, Harry, John, and Raymond Petty; and sister, Ella Williamson. She is survived by her children, David Willis; Gordon Willis; and Geralyn Holley; grandchildren, Jessica Dowell, Justin Willis, James Holley, Ross Holley, Grace Holley; great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Abigail, and Sarah Dowell, Olivia and Prudence Willis; sisters, Mary Deacon, Joyce Thrasher, and Alice Hartberger; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 3pm Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Marina Gopadze officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3pm before the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Boys Home of Virginia in Covington.
