Rosemary Louise Moran Lee

Rosemary Louise Moran Lee, 83, of Botetourt County, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lee; daughter, Donna Thrasher; parents, Edgar and Jessie Moran; and numerous brothers and sisters. Rosemary, affectionately known as Stumpy to her co-workers, retired from Groendyk with over 30 years of service. She is survived by two daughters, Loretta L. Bourne of Fincastle and Teresa L. Sawyer of Roanoke; grandchildren, Jayson Blair Parr, of Fincastle, Kristi L. Flick, of Fincastle, Daniel L. Sawyer and wife, Allison, of Catawba, and Ashley D. Cade and husband, Matt, of Sarasota, Fla.; great-grandsons, Logan Everett Sawyer and Mason Gage Sawyer; sisters, Ruth McFalls and husband, Richard, Reanie Moran; son-in-law, R. Conway Thrasher, of Belews Creek, N.C.; and special friends, Jean and Kenny Johnson, Karen and Matt Peery. Visitation will be held at 1 pm with funeral services at 2 pm on Sunday, January 24, 2021 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery.
