Robert William Smith, Jr., 41, of Buchanan, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. Sr. and Claudia Smith. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Patricia Tingler Smith; daughter, Tiffany Nicole Smith; step-son, James Lee Flint and wife, Melissa; grandchildren, Uriel Smith and Camden Flint; sister, Teresa L. Hager; brothers, Horace and Dale Johnson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy and Mae Tingler; sister-in-law, Melinda Clark and husband, Doug; brother-in-law, Roy Lee Tingler, Jr. and wife, Tonia; nieces, Dana Kern and husband, Nick; Heather Johnson, Brittany Tingler and Jonathan Lacks; nephews, Brian and Kowean Kern, Scottie Foster, Matt Clark, and Dustin Tingler and fiance' Misti. Memorial Services will be held 2pm Thursday, July 11, 2013 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Pastor Eugene Mills officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home.
