Robert Wayne Owen, 55, of Buchanan, VA passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, John Wayne Owen. He was employed at Groendyk for 29 years and Dynax for 5 years. He is survived by his mother, Norma Layman Harris; sister, Renee Owen Jenkins; nieces, Jesse and Ashley Thanasouk; aunt, Linda Layman, and numerous cousins. The memorial service will held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home 540-254-3000.
