Raymond "Ronnie" Owen,

Raymond R. "Ronnie" Owen, Sr., 70, of Buchanan, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Randolph Owen. He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Raymond R. Owen Jr., Paul J. and Carlie Owen, and Charles A. Owen; granddaughter, Blakely Belle Owen; mother, Ruby Owen; sisters and brother-in-law, Elizabeth "Betsy" Helms, Rebecca "Becky" and Gary Morris all of Buchanan; brother and sister-in-law, Jesse L. and Becky Owen of Boones Mill; his dear friend, Becky Vassar of Roanoke; and numerous nieces and nephews.
