Michael James Prease

Michael James Prease, 64, of Buchanan, VA, passed away on November 16, 2025. He was born February 23, 1961, to James Robert and Virginia Coffman Prease. He was a dairy and beef farmer for over 45 years. Michael also farmed crops and delicious sweet corn. He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Brenda Prease McCullough. Surviving family include sister, Karen Prease Harold, nieces, Elaina H. (Jonathan) Carderelli, Kristina H. (Alex) Lima, and nephew, Ken D. (Sharon) McCullough, as well as numerous great-nieces, nephews, cousins, caregivers, neighbors, and friends.

A celebration of life, led by Rev. Morris Bennett, will be held at Botetourt Funeral Home Buchanan, VA Monday, November 24, 2025 at 12:00, with visitation an hour before service.
