Mattie Elizabeth Tolley Ayers, 74, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021. She was a housekeeper by trade and was preceded in death by her parents, Roy W. and Annie Noel Tolley; infant sister, Hazel Jane Tolley; and brothers, Charlie and Donnie Tolley. Survivors include her son, Michael Ayers of Roanoke; sister, Christine Higgins; brothers, James and Ralph Tolley, all of Scranton, PA. A graveside service will be held at 11 am, Thursday, August 5, 2021, in Fairview Cemetery-Buchanan.
