Lorraine Savannah Spangler

Lorraine Savannah Spangler, 74, of Buchanan, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde "Pete" Spangler; parents, Ted and Lena Sloan; brothers, Clyde and Kenneth Sloan; sisters, Janice Orange and Vera Moseley. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen S. and William Thompson of Natural Bridge; sons, Clyde "Kevin" Spangler of Little Rock, Arkansas; Randy Spangler of Buchanan; grandchildren, Amanda Thompson-Baizley and husband, John; Allen Thompson and wife, Meredith; Derek Thompson; great-granddaughter, Isabela Thompson-Baizley; sisters, Linda Milton of Buchanan; Marie Roberts of Natural Bridge; Gladys Carter of Roanoke; brother, Ivan Sloan of Botetourt Co.; sisters-in-law, Dean Markham, Phyllis Falls, and June Cash; brothers-in-law, LD Orange and Kenneth Spangler. The family will receive friends from 3-5pm, Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the family home, 687 Pico Rd., Buchanan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or the charity of your choice.
