Larry Alton Deacon

Larry Alton Deacon, 82, of Lexington, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Charles Deacon and Florence Shorter Deacon; and daughter, Kay Deacon Pelton. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Patsy Ann Deacon; son and daughter-in-law, Larry D. and Kelli Deacon of Sevierville, TN; grandson, Luke Deacon; aunt, Della Mae Deacon; cousin, Carolyn Looney; and special friend, Gaynelle Higgins. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, August 8, 2018 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Tabor officiating. Interment will follow in Rapps Mill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, Va. 24066.
