Kathryn Bush

Kathryn Louise Hinchee Bush, 96, of Troutville, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. She was born February 5, 1929 in Weirton, West Virginia and was preceded in death by her parents, William "Bill" and Gladys Dogan Hinchee, and her husband of 67 years, John Rodney Bush. Kathryn was a long-time resident of Troutville and was a faithful servant of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She leaves to mourn her loss, two sons, William Wesley Bush and John David Bush and his wife, Lisa; one granddaughter, Jenna Moran and her husband, Michael; one step-grandson, Chad Bostic of Roanoke; and two great-grandchildren, Cory Mitchell and Austyn Moran; a special adopted great-grandson, Chase Higgins, as well as several nieces and nephews, and many other friends and family members. A graveside service will be held at Trinity Cemetery on US 220 in Troutville on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 1:00 pm. Pallbearers will be Chad Bostic, David Bush, Wes Bush, Chase Higgins, Cory Mitchell, and Mike Moran. Special thanks to the Staff of Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital's Palliative Care team and the team of ladies that helped keep her home for the past year. The family request that memorials be made to the Fincastle Baptist Church or Colonial Baptist Church in Blue Ridge, Virginia.
