It is with painful sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Julie Anne O'Mara Noble, 53 of Buchanan, who left us on Friday, July 4, 2025. Born on May 31, 1972, Julie was a living force of nature, known for her fierce loyalty, unwavering strength, and powerful personality. It was impossible for her to go anywhere without making a friend, and she enriched the lives of all those around her.
Julie was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and fiancée. A legend within her own circles, she was deeply cherished by both friends and family for her wild persona, endless support and even her livid temper.
Above all, Julie taught her children the true meaning of strength and stood as a constant pillar of support for both her family and friends. She was tough, and she was mean, but in the best of ways. She lived authentically, never swayed by the opinions of others, and she inspired those around her to do the same.
She was preceded in death by her late father, Charles A. Montgomery, and her beloved grandmother, Irene F. O'Mara.
Those left to continue her legacy include her three children, Taylor N. Noble, Tierney L. Noble, and Zachary A. Forsyth. She leaves behind her devoted mother, Katherine V. Montgomery, her brother, William R. Montgomery, and her beloved fiancée, Richard E. Entsminger Jr. Julie was also a proud Nonna to her grandchildren, Ryleigh Welch, Bronson Welch, Grayson Welch, and Janie Welch, who brought such immense joy to every moment of her life.
Julie's vibrant spirit and indomitable will touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of strength, loyalty, and unwavering support will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. It is an unending sadness to know that we will all have to continue without her. She was the bedrock her family relied on, and now she is all the strength we will ever need. Julie is missed, and she is loved.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2pm Saturday, July 19, 2025 at her brother's residence, 732 Zion Hill Rd., Fincastle, VA 24090.
She would have loved nothing more than to be surrounded by her close friends and family, laughing, sharing stories, and remembering the great times you had together. Julie had a gift for making people feel loved and welcomed, and this day is a reflection of the warmth and joy she brought into all of our lives.
Please bring a side dish to share and your own chair. Kids are welcome. Alcohol will not be provided but you're more than welcome to bring your own.
