Julia Sifford Simpson

Julia Sifford Simpson, 97, of Daleville, passed away Monday, November 1, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. P. Simpson; parents, Chester and Halley Stevens Sifford; two brothers, Maynard and Jim Sifford; sister, Eunice Turner; and son-in-law, Don Spencer. She is survived by her brother, Harlan Sifford of Iowa; son, Price Simpson and wife, Raymolene; daughter, Sarah Spencer of Daleville; grandchildren, Steven and wife, Sonni; Donna Raye Martin and husband, Steve; Mary Lynne Harris and husband, Kyle; Patty Hamilton and husband, Lee; great-grandchildren, Jeb, Clark, Julia, Brandon, Sarah and Jenna. Graveside services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, November 3, 2010 in Mill Creek Cemetery with Rev. Dr. J. Randolph Daniels officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mill Creek Baptist Church Building Fund. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, (540-254-3000).
