Judy Ruble Barr

Judith Ruble Barr, 73, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Ruble and Emily Hurst. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Juan Barr; children, Rex and Laura Schilling, Robert and Rebecca Richards, and Danny Barr; grandchildren, Samantha Schilling, Kyle Ratliff, Jason Schilling, Josie Schilling, Katelynn Underwood, Autumn Richards, Nathan Richards, Brandon and Jessica Barr; great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Snedden, Aurelia Ratliff, Eliza Ratliff, Alexander Schilling, Abigail Ring, Bennett and Ollie Barr; sisters, Pamela Brown, Donna Barr, Sherry Norville, and Kathy Edwards; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, especially Gladys Bennett and Rachel Rich. Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Tuesday May 10, 2022, in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Pastor Mark Washington officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Monday, May 9, 2022, at the funeral home.
