Johnny Blair Hix

Johnny Blair Hix, 74, of Fincastle, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Mary Hix; sisters, Treva Foster and Betty Wills; and brother, Gary Hix. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Teresa Hix; Christopher and Gail Hix; and Kevin and Elizabeth Hix; grandchildren, Wyatt, Becca, Michaela, Jarrod, Meaghan, Dawson, Rachael, Cole, and Evan Hix; sisters and brothers-in-law, Charlene and Herschel Conner; Nancy Hix; and Patricia and John Joplin; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held from 6-8pm Thursday, February 14, 2019 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Inurnment will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to the local FFA Chapters or the National Wild Turkey Federation.
