Jerry Wendell Broughman

Jerry Wendell Broughman, 72, of Buchanan, went to be home and with the Lord on Sunday, April 7, 2013. Jerry was born October 4, 1940 to Wesley K. and Margaret Burkholder Broughman in the Pico area of Buchanan, Virginia. He was also a life-long member of the Buchanan Moose Lodge. Survivors include his sister, Charlotte Cash of Buchanan; brother and sister-in-law, Guy and Vilinda Broughman of North Carolina; brother, Dewey Broughman; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; also one very special great-great nephew Grayson Dudley. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 10, 2013 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Airport Road, Roanoke. The family will receive friends Tuesday (April 9) from 6 to 8 pm at Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan (540-254-3000).
