James William Hickok,

James William Hickok, Sr., 85, of Buchanan, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathe Lisa Hickok; parents, Clarence and Violet Hickok; brother, Ray Hickok; and sister, Katie Bomar. He was a member and deacon of Springwood Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughter, Eva McGuire of Bluefield, WV; sons, Stephen Hickok of Buchanan; James Hickok, Jr. of Maryland; and sister, Zola Smith of Richmond. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold E. Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Springwood Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Springwood Baptist Church.
