James Watson Mccormick

James Watson McCormick, 89, of Roanoke passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Anna McCormick; and sister, Betty Hartman. James was an avid outdoor photographer, photographing various wildlife, and enjoyed bird watching. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Frances McCormick; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy Freifeld; Lisa and Joseph France; Sherry and Mike Lugar; grandchildren, Jonathan, Kassandra, Kristenna, and Nikolaus; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Twila Patterson, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-7pm with memorial services at 7pm Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home.
