Frances Laura Redman Barnett

Frances Laura Barnett, 82, of Fincastle, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 27, 2010. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Her life centered around her family and her faith in God. She was a longtime member of the Fincastle Church of God of Prophecy. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kim and Laura Redman and husband, Jack Barnett. She is survived by her children Brenda Faye (Henry) Tabor, Jerry (Martha) Barnett, Mary (Freddie) Patsel, Norman Barnett; grandchildren, Shawn (Tonnie) Tabor, Jeff (Tabatha Sellards) Patsel, Amy (Brandon) Evans; great-grandchildren, Skylar Tabor, Jayden Tabor, Hunter Evans; sisters, Evelyn (Bill) Fisher, and Ella Webb. Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Thursday, September 30, 2010 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Godwin Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan, VA (254-3000).
