Frances Faye Montgomery Ayers

Frances Faye Montgomery Ayers, 85, of Buchanan, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014. Frances attended the Assembly of God Church in Buchanan. Her favorite things to do was to sing, listen to gospel music and her flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis and Marvie Johnson Montgomery; and husband, Percy Kellis Harris. Survivors include her sisters, Estaleane Montgomery of Roanoke and Evelyn Broughman of Buchanan; nephew, Pete Broughman; great nephews, Jamie Broughman of Roanoke and Christopher Broughman of Covington; aunt, Bernice Rider of Clifton Forge. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
