Fleeta Hale Newcomb

Fleeta Hale Newcomb, 83, of Eagle Rock, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lee Newcomb; parents, Arthur and Edna Hale; sister, Joann Hicks; and brother, Rodney Hale. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Gary Simpson; grandchildren, Amanda and Jeremy Bennington, Lee and Karmen Simpson, Heather Bennett, and Travis Smith; great-grandchildren; Caleb, Kendall, Cole, Tory, Zoey, and Logan; sisters, Nigal Cisco, Judy King, Brenda Adcock, and Dixie Hale; brother, Jerry Hale; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 11am Friday, June 23, 2017 in the Eagle Rock Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Botetourt Funeral Home, Eagle Rock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eagle Rock Fire and Rescue.
