Everett "Kenny" Sexton

Everett Kenneth Sexton, 82, of Buchanan, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Kenny was a member of the Virginia Presbyterian Church and the Oddfellows Lodge #278. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane Mundy Sexton and parents, Everett and Allie Sexton. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny "Punky" and Diane Sexton of Buchanan; Dean and Lucy Sexton of Hot Springs; daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Paul Booze of Troutville; Mary Jane Sexton and Rodger Linkenhoker of Buchanan; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Gay and Rex Kelly of Buchanan; sister-in-law, Ruby Matthews of Florida; brother-in-law, Marvin (Adalee) Mundy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held 7:30pm Friday, June 24, 2011 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Marina Gopadze and Pastor Steve Willis officiating. Those wishing to make a contribution, please consider the Buchanan Food Pantry, The Virginia Presbyterian Church, or the Buchanan Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends one hour prior the service at the funeral home.
