Eula Brown Kanode

Eula Brown Kanode, 85, formerly of Troutville, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hiram Nathan Brown and Beulah Mae Brown; sisters, Betty Mitchell, JoAnn Murphy, and Peggy DeMent; brothers, Bobby, Donald, and Kenneth Brown; and grandson, Dustin Thomas Bolen.

She was a long-time member of Mill Creek Baptist Church, loved puzzles, the beach, flowers, traveling, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Richard Dudley (Colleen); daughter, Elaine Harman (John); granddaughter, Ashley Duncan (Wesley); great-grandchildren, Jacob Lecca, and Everleigh Duncan; sisters, Edith Olecki (Bruce), Linda Henninger; brothers, Wayne Brown (Kay), and Gene Brown (Sharon); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at 11 am, with funeral services following at 12 noon, on Monday, March 30, 2026, at Mill Creek Baptist Church, with Pastor Danny Quirin officiating.
