Elizabeth Gunter

Elizabeth "Sammie" Gunter Fox, 95, of Buchanan, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther, Sr. and Bessie Camper Gunter; two sisters; three brothers; and grandson, Dale Wells. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Elizabeth (James) Lam of Mechanicsville; Nancy (Charlie) Brown of Seaford; son, James "Jimmy" Fox, Jr. of Buchanan; grandchildren, Dewey (Cheryl) Wells, Susan (Dennis) Keith, Stephanie (Michael) Dobson, Cindy (Billy) Hansford; ten great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sister, Anne "Boots" Gunter; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins including niece, Ramona Keith. Funeral Services will be held 11am Saturday, November 30, 2013 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Woody officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview cemetery.
