Edgar David Bourne

Edgar David "Eddie" Bourne, 67, of Fincastle, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016. He was a Journey Wireman employed by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, George S. and Dorothy Taxis Bourne; sister, Edith B. Paderick; and infant brother, Robert Stephen Bourne. Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Loretta Lee Bourne; daughter, Kristin Bourne of Anguilla; son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Stacy Bourne of Roanoke; step-children, Jayson Blair Parr of Fincastle and Kristi Lee and husband Ryan Flick of Roanoke; grandchildren, Ethan Bert Bourne and Catherine Brianna Bourne; brothers, George S. Bourne Jr. of Albuquerque, NM and Andrew (Andy) Bourne and friend, Laura Pellitteri of Goodview; and sister, Nancy A. Bourne of Troutville. The family will receive friends Friday, June 10, 2016 from 11:30 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, Virginia with Chaplain I. Ray Sloan officiating. Interment will follow in Godwin Cemetery in Fincastle.
