Dolores J. "Dolly" Schulz

Dolores J. "Dolly" Schulz, 84, of Buchanan, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016. She was preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Appell, adoptive mother, Abagail Schmidt, sisters, Gladys Kelly and Eleanor Houlihan; and brother, Raymond Schmidt. She was survived by the love of her life and husband of 63 years, Ed; daughter, Debbie Schulz (Addison Brogan); son, Edward Schulz and wife, MaryBeth; precious grandchildren, Eddie Schulz (Kassi Hines), Patrick Schulz, Jack Schulz, and Susan Schulz; numerous nieces and nephews; and life-long friend, Marge Friedman. Special thank you to Carrington Place and Amedisys Hospice for the excellent care they gave to Dolores during her final journey. Your kindness and compassion are very much appreciated. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm with visitation at 12 pm on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the Church of the Transfiguration with the Father McNally officiating.
