Dillard Lee Richards

Dillard Lee Richards, 91, of Daleville, passed away Monday, April 29, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Hill Richards; son, David Warren Richards; and son-in-law, Paul L. Gluth. He was a WWII Army Veteran having served in the 38th Infantry Division and receiving a bronze star and a Philippine Liberation Medal. He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie O. Gluth of Daleville; daughter-in-law, Janet G. Richards of Daleville; granddaughters, Mary Catherine Mullins and husband, Scott of Troutville; Carmen Nicole Dillon of Daleville; great-grandchildren, Katlyn Poff, Matthew Deacon, Maggie Lee Deacon, Colton Dillon, Gabrielle Mullins, Hannah Dillon, Hunter Dillon, and Sawyer Mullins. A private graveside service with Military Honors will be held for the family. Arrangements by Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan.
