Diane Proffitt Smith

Diane Proffitt Smith, 63, of Buchanan passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Warner Proffitt and father-in-law, Elmer Basil Smith.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Toney Smith; sons, Jacob Smith; Benjamin (Jill Doster) Smith; mother, Jean Begtrup Proffitt; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Tim Hullett, Penny and Eric Metz, and Sandy and Danny Hart; numerous nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Barbara P. Moore, and her husband, Wayne; sister-in-law, Dixie Huff and her husband, Jim; and brother-in-law, Lloyd Smith.
