Charles Robert Lawrence, 30, of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019. Charles loved karaoke, shooting pool, tie-dying, kayaking, shooting guns and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Dale Lawrence, Jr. and niece, Veralee Craft. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Tina Marie Gilliam Hodges and Alvin Hodges, Jr.; sister and fiancé Chelsy Lawrence and Samuel Harman; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Brittany Lawrence; and nephews, Jordan Colton, and Gunner. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, October 24, 2019 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral with Chaplain I. Ray Sloan officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery-Buchanan. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8pm at Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, Va. 24066. 540-254-3000
