Catherine Manspile Reid

Catherine "Whitey" Manspile Reid, 85, of Buchanan, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011. She retired from Burlington Industries at the age of 78. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Dovie Smith Manspile; husband, John Field Reid; and sister, Bessie Helms. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra R. and Tom Webb of Winterville, NC; and sister, Ruby Bryant of Maryland. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Friday, January 7, 2001 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Lester Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Roaring Run Cemetery.
