Carl Roy Fay, Sr.

Carl Roy Fay, Sr., 94, of Fincastle, went to be with his savior on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at his

home surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Irene

Janette (Roberge)Fay, parents, Horace Earl and Cassie May Bush Fay; sisters, Florence

,Gladys and Leila; brothers, Winford, Robert, Marshall, and granddaughter, Michelle Smith.

Survivors include his twin brother Earl Fay and wife Nancy of Pelham, Massachusetts ,

daughters, Denise Marie, Arizona, Cheyrl (Bill) French Gretna, VA, Roxanne Davis, Fincastle,

VA and Brenda (Steven) Barrett, Belchertown, MA; sons, Carl, Jr.(Patricia) Fay, and Bruce Fay;

grandchildren, Tina Russo, Rebecca Merritt, Jamie and Todd Miller, Jamason (Mary Anne)

Towne, Nathan (Jenny) Towne, Carl (Rackiel) Fay, III, Joshua (Heather) Fay, Cassie (Jason)

Gutherie, Brian (fiancée Charlene) Fay, Monica Fay, Miranda (Andreas) Tsoumas, John

Delacamp, Tina (Eddie) Witt, Rachael Brown, and Charles Switzer; and numerous great-

grandchildren.

Carl was a member and Deacon of Dwight Chapel (Belchertown, Mass.) and Eagle Rock

Baptist Church serving as Deacon for many years. He worked for LaBrie Asphalt and Puffer

Construction for many years building roads serving as Superintendent. Carl was a kind, gentle,

loving, hardworking, son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Carl was

loved by everyone who knew him. He had a love of music to include Bluegrass, Country, and

Polka music. He and Irene traveled many miles enjoying their RV. The family will receive family

and friends on Friday, August 2nd, from 11:00 to 12:00 pm in the Eagle Rock Baptist Church, 50

2nd Street, Eagle Rock. Funeral Service will follow the viewing at 12:00pm with Pastor Billy
