C. Dickie Dudley

C. Dickie Dudley, 67, of Eagle Rock, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011. He was the mandolin player for the band Special Edition and was a logger all his life. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lettie Ann Dudley. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Edith Dudley; special kids, Kathy and McKenzie Baker and Scottie Britt; sister, Stella Perry of Buchanan; brothers and sister-in-law, Arthur Dudley, Lawrence and Donna Dudley, and Junior and Betty Dudley all of Eagle Rock. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Sunday, July 24, 2011 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Wessley Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 23rd from 5 to 8 pm at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. 254-3000
