Brian Dunbar

Brian Lee Dunbar, Sr., 44, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025. He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Monroe Dunbar, Sr., and his grandparents, Wayne and Charlotte Ramsey and Albert and Elsie Dunbar.

Brian's children were the love of his life, he enjoyed playing video games, watching car shows and working on cars.

Survivors include his mother, Donna Elaine West Dunbar; sons, Brian Lee Dunbar, Jr. and Halee Puffenbarger, as well as Logan Scott Dunbar and Cora Mullins; daughters, Cammie Faye Dunbar and Sophie Jade Dunbar; brother, Leslie Monroe (Christine) Dunbar, Jr.; sister, Chelsea Anne (Evan) Gilliam; niece, Heather Shea (Harley) Hodges; nephews, Hunter Monaghan and Jasmine Hefner, and Jared Monaghan; Childhood Friend, Camille (Aaron) Moore-Matheny.

The family will receive friends Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 15, 2025, at 1:00 pm in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, Va. 24066 with Pastor Milton Atkins officiating. Interment will follow in Godwin Cemetery, Fincastle.
