Braxton Cook

Braxton Cook, 86, of Fincastle, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Thelma Jean Cook; son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Deb Cook of Los Angeles; Bobby and Kathy Cook of Roanoke; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Tom McGrath of Fincastle; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and brothers, Leslie, Gene, and Jerry Cook. Special thanks to nurses, Regina Harding and Debbie Quick with Carilion Hospice and all others who helped in his care. Graveside services will be held 2pm Friday, February 26, 2016 at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens with the Rev. JR Graybill officiating.
