Ashley Graybill

Ashley Nicole Graybill peacefully passed away and woke up in the presence of Jesus on May 18, 2025. Ashley was an amazing daughter, incredible sister, caring and dear wife, extraordinary mommy, loving family member, committed follower of Jesus, gifted educator, and fantastic friend. Ashley was the type of person who would do anything for anyone and was always there to listen or offer a shoulder to cry on.

She lived a remarkable life characterized by devotion to her family, her unwavering faith in Christ and passion for teaching. This was demonstrated through her faithful love to her husband of over 11 years and their cherished daughters, memorable time spent with family and friends, worshiping and serving at Garden City Church of the Nazarene, the 15 years she poured into the co-workers, children and families of New Vista Montessori School, volunteering a generous amount of time to her kids' elementary school and many other acts of service and love.

Ashley is survived by her loving husband, Brad; precious daughters, Chandler and Hunter; sweet fur babies, Emma and Jax; parents, Stephen and Tracy Gordon; sisters, Kimberlie and Kelsi Gordon; and in-laws, JR, Karen, Jacob and Carlee Graybill. She also leaves behind a large and loving extended family including grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and too many friends to name.

Ashley attended William Fleming, Patrick Henry, and Pulaski County High Schools, graduating in 2002. Later, she earned an International Montessori Teaching Diploma, which bolstered her commitment to education and teaching. Ashley entered a relationship with Jesus at an early age, and it was the filter through which she viewed everything. She gave her best in all areas of life. She will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 3pm on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Garden City Church of the Nazarene, 3401 Garden City Blvd., Roanoke, VA 24014. The family will receive friends after the service in the church's family life center.
