Angela Meador Sloggett

Angela Marie Meador Sloggett, 52, of Buchanan, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 10, 2020 after enduring so much this past year with a difficult illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Riley Meador Sr. and Ruth Giles Meador; and brother, Arthur Preston Meador. She is survived by her children, Alex, Kayla, Heather, Shane, and Brandon Sloggett; siblings and their spouses, Dana and Kenneth Ferguson, Rochelle and Garry King, Arthur Riley Meador, Jr., Christine and Paul Dulaney, Diane and David Meador, Phillip and Danielle Meador, and Robert Meador; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm, Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in the parking lot of Valley View Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Boone officiating. Burial will follow. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nursing staff at Roanoke Memorial and the staff of Carilion Hospice for their loving care.
