Alexander Leslie Pankey

Alexander Leslie Pankey, Jr., 61, of Buchanan, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander L. Pankey Sr., and Shirley Mae Pankey Terry; and his wife Teresa Ann Johnson Pankey. Survivors include his son, Jonathan F. Johnson; daughter, Tiffany N. Johnson; sisters, Margaret Johnson, Bernice Dean, and Eloise Thompson; brother, Edward Vince Pankey; and special friend, George Toliver. A Homegoing Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 10, 2021, in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, Va. 24066 with Dr. Robert L. Jordan officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.
